My Horse 04:37
My horse is a real dilly da My horses are in pain My horse has big yellow eyes My horse makes me wanna cry My horse leaves its right blinker on My horse pisses on the lawn My horse went to school at Wesleyan My horse is scared of fitting in My horse is afraid of cactuses My horse never practices My horse sees the worst parts of me My horse hates computer screens My horse has three weeks left to live But my horse has so much love to give My horses are in pain My horse keeps twisting the knife My horse has a perfect life My horse says it don't need anyone My horses are on the run My horse heard the rustling of the leaves My horse whispers and it grieves

I've been thinking a lot about the difference Between a meaningful thought and my indifference I've been singing a lot and I will sing The same songs, the same songs Until someone tells me I've sang too long I've been thinking about the disposition Of the people who talk but never listen I can read em the clock and they will say The same thoughts, the same thoughts I just want to sleep so don't take too long It's a tugboat fantasy There goes a manatee Hiding along the seawall And each understanding Is so undemanding That what will it take to be wrong I've been thinking about the disposition Of the people who talk but never listen I can read em the clock and they will say The same thoughts, the same thoughts Until someone tells them they've thank too long I've been thinking a lot about the difference Between a meaningful thought and my indifference I've been singing a lot and I will sing The same songs, the same songs I just want to sleep so don't take too long It's a tugboat fantasy There goes a manatee Hiding along the seawall And each understanding Is so undemanding That what will it take to be wrong

She's a drunk thunderbird She sleeps all night Then she's up an hour later Shutting off all the lights (x2) I've got a move you may never wanna choose (x2) Cause she's a drunk thunderbird She sleeps all night Then she's up an hour later Shutting off all the lights (x2) I've got a move you may never wanna choose (x2) Cause she's a drunk thunderbird She sleeps all night Then she's up an hour later Shutting off all the lights (x2) She's a drunk thunderbird She sleeps all night Then she's up an hour later Shutting off all the lights (x4)

Hyacinth bathing Hogging up all the sun Free floating in the water Look at the way it runs Up through Palatka No one can stop it now Hyacinth we still love you But hyacinth please slow down
6.
Why am I still salting you with bread It's so insulting in the end But in a diver's bell, you'll see (x4) And under a diver's glass bell, you'll see There is nothing left to love Neither down there nor above There's nothing left, there's nothing left to love

about

These songs were written during my last year of college and recorded my first two years out of school. While I will always associate this music with the living room of my parent's house in Hollywood where I recorded most of it, I also recorded some songs and parts of some songs in my house in Gainesville and a cabin in Tallahassee. I was working on a documentary about climate change in Miami while I recorded these and watching Spongebob, and both of those things influenced the direction of this music. There are a lot of people to thank and I'll probably miss some people in listing them, so I just want to say thank you to all my family and friends who supported me while I made this, I am very fortunate to have you all around.
